Doll House Lol
One thing I love about dollhouse building and especially doll house Lol is that once the doll house is finished there is nothing that you have to do. All the walls are set, all the floors are plastered, all the windows are square, etc. You don’t have to do anything except sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Well, maybe it is fruit but more than likely it is just a fruit. The point I am trying to make here is that you have a lot more freedom in building your own house when you use doll house Lol.
When I was in college I used to build model homes all the time. After college I went on to become a carpenter, and I loved every second of it. While I still can’t finish a real Doll house like I did when I was in school (I only get half way through a model house before I start to get tired and break down) I can now enjoy the fruits of my labor with doll house Lol. With the current instructions that are included with the doll house, it takes a lot less time than it did for me to build the original one and it costs me about the same amount. With the amount of freedom that I now have with this doll house it is much easier than it was for me to simply construct the simple little home that I lived in.
The one thing that I do recommend to anyone looking to get into woodworking is to make sure you pick a doll house that is large enough to hold what you want to build. I have had one that was a little too small for what I needed it for, and it took me almost twice as long to finish as it should have. Also, make sure that you do build your doll house on stilts. There isn’t a worse situation than walking around on the floor of the house while you are hammering away on the nails. It can be very tempting to nail by accident, especially if you have a doll house with many windows.
